Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir planted a tree in his garden in tribute to late UAE president Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The symbolic gesture signaled the official launch of the philanthropic “Zayed Al Khair Tree”, according to Al Bayan newspaper.
Zayed International Foundation for the Environment launched the initiative from Sudan to the world.
