Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa reiterated that the remarks delivered by His Majesty King Hamad to the media reflect a clear and unequivocal approach to safeguarding the kingdom’s interests, ensuring its continued success, and cementing the foundations of its security and stability.
He noted that the King’s directives reaffirm that the nation’s interests are a firm priority, and underscore the importance of taking firm and decisive action against those who seek to undermine its security or align with hostile entities.
He stressed that national unity, cohesion among Bahrain’s citizens, and their steadfast support for the kingdom’s leadership under His Majesty represent an unshakeable pillar against all challenges, and ensure the continued advancement of the kingdom’s development.
Shaikh Isa highlighted that the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues to implement the directives of His Majesty with determination, mobilising all capabilities to safeguard the kingdom, strengthen its developmental ambitions, and consolidate its standing regionally and internationally across various fields.
He commended the solid foundations of national progress established under the leadership, including support for constitutional institutions, the enhancement of community participation, and the strengthening of the efficiency and readiness of military, security and civil entities, which have all demonstrated their ability to effectively protect the kingdom.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa outlined that the security and stability of Bahrain cannot be compromised and represent a shared national responsibility.
He noted that the King’s remarks reflect forward-looking leadership and vision that prioritises the kingdom’s interests and underscores the importance of firmly confronting anyone who acts against the interests of the kingdom, seeks to undermine its security, or aligns with hostile entities.
He stressed that the unity of Bahrain’s citizens and their steadfast support for the kingdom’s leadership under His Majesty remain the cornerstone of strengthening stability and advancing development.
He expressed his wishes for continued security and stability for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its loyal citizens.
Meanwhile, Parliament Speaker Ahmed Musallam stressed that the council does not accept the presence of any member who supports or justifies actions by traitors that harm the kingdom and its higher interests, noting that those who act against national principles or undermine security and stability must bear the consequences of their actions.
He expressed deep regret that some legislators had aligned themselves with traitors, based on justifications and statements that bear no relation to patriotism or to the parliamentary oath.
He added that members of the legislative authority should carry their national responsibilities and duties, stressing that the interests of the nation stand above all and that members must uphold unity, protect national interests, and preserve the integrity of the council.
He stressed that those who fail to meet these responsibilities have no place in the council or in representing the Bahraini people.
Mr Al Musallam stressed that the honour of citizenship and loyalty to the nation carry duties and responsibilities that must be upheld, stressing that membership of the council does not grant immunity to any member who supports, justifies or defends traitors.
Ministers, legislators, senior government officials, tribes and families affirmed loyalty and full support for the remarks delivered by His Majesty to the media and the national vision they outlined.
