His Majesty King Hamad ratified and issued Law (15) of 2026 adding a new item numbered (8) to paragraph (c) of Article (8) of Decree-Law (78) of 2006 on the insurance against unemployment and its amendments, following approval by the Shura Council and Parliament.
The amendment provides for the payment of the wages of Bahraini workers insured under the Social Insurance Law for the month of April.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each within their capacity, will implement the provisions of this law, which will come into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
