Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Stephanie Hallett, Ambassador of the United States of America to the kingdom of Bahrain.
Both sides reaffirmed the longstanding ties and the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, highlighting the advanced co-operation across various domains.
They discussed means to further enhance bilateral co-ordination to serve mutual interests.
The discussions also covered regional developments and their impact on regional security and the global economy, as well as prospects for continued co-ordination on regional issues before the United Nations Security Council.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights, and Ambassador Saeed Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Chief of Coordination and Follow-up.
