The White House has accused China of undertaking industrial-scale theft of US artificial intelligence labs' intellectual property and warned it would crack down on a practice that exploits US innovation, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.
The report cited a memo written by Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
