Dubai - A new line for the Dubai metro costing 34 billion dirhams ($9.26 billion) will be completed by September 9, 2032, Dubai's ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum posted on X on Wednesday.
The Golden line project will span 42 km and reach a depth of 40 metres underground. It will pass through 15 areas in Dubai and will serve 1.5 million residents, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said.
