VOLLEYBALL – THE draw for the 2025-26 His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s Cup for volleyball was held by the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) via video conferencing technology.
Conducting the draw, which took place at the BVA headquarters at Isa Bin Rashid Arena at Isa Sports City in Riffa, were BVA vice-president Mohammed Al-Thawadi, BVA secretary general Feras Al Helwachi, and BVA board member and competitions committee head Redha Ashouri, with a number of representatives from the participating clubs.
According to the draw system, the champions of the 2025-26 Isa Bin Rashid Bahrain Volleyball League along with the runners-up will qualify directly for the quarter-finals of the competition.
The preliminary round will see the 14th team in the overall league standings going against the 12th, the seventh against the fifth, the 10th against the fourth, the 11th against the eighth, the 13th against the sixth, and the ninth against the third.
According to the competition regulations, all clubs under the BVA banner will participate in the HRH the Crown Prince Cup this season.
Due to the current circumstances and national team duties for Bahrain’s internationals in May, a knockout system has been adopted for the competition.
