Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Luigi Di Maio, European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Gulf region. The meeting discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Dr. Bin Dainah commended the ties between Bahrain and the EU, which are developing at various levels, particularly in energy-sector cooperation and the exchange of technical expertise.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the energy sector, including challenges facing global energy markets, ways to enhance stability, and ensured the continuity and efficiency of supplies. They also discussed opportunities to develop bilateral cooperation in energy-related domains.
Di Maio commended the role played by the Kingdom in supporting international cooperation within the energy sector.
