National Security Adviser, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a telephone call with Cyprus National Security Adviser Tassos Tsezonis.
During the call, latest developments in the region regarding Iran’s hostile attacks on Bahrain, Arab and international countries were reviewed. Both sides reiterated their condemnation of these attacks and the ongoing escalation, which violate state sovereignty and international laws and norms.
The call also affirmed the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Cyprus and their development across various fields.
The two sides also discussed means to further develop partnerships and co-operation to serve mutual interests.
