The ambassadors of the GCC countries and Jordan to Russia held a meeting, chaired by Bahrain’s Ambassador Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, with Alexander Alimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia for International Organisations.
The meeting discussed recent regional developments and the repercussions of the ongoing Iranian attacks on countries in the region.
They exchanged views on strengthening diplomatic efforts to support regional security and stability, including ways to safeguard maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding areas.
