His Majesty King Hamad valued the supportive stance and solidarity expressed by Egypt towards the GCC states in light of the heinous Iranian attacks.
He expressed appreciation for Egypt’s position and the readiness it has shown to provide various forms of support, reflecting the strength of the longstanding historical relations and close ties between Egypt and the GCC states, as well as the spirit of steadfast Arab solidarity.
His Majesty noted that this noble stance by Egypt comes amid the critical circumstances facing the region and emanates from its belief that the security of the Gulf is an integral part of its national security.
The shared destiny among Arab states calls for strengthening Arab co-operation and unifying positions to address current challenges, he said, underscoring the importance of consolidating collective Arab national security to ensure the protection of Arab states from any threats or attacks.
The King emphasised the importance of continuing close co-ordination with Egypt, the GCC states and other Arab countries.
He expressed hope that such sincere positions would help reinforce the foundations of regional security and stability, in line with the kingdom’s longstanding approach to supporting peace and promoting security and stability both regionally and globally, to achieve prosperity and development for their peoples.
