SAUDI Arabia is playing a prominent role, alongside its allies, in consolidating regional security, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has said.
He said Bahrain’s historic relationship with Saudi Arabia continues to advance across various fields in line with the support of both His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH Prince Salman commended the relationship as he received Saudi Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi at Riffa Palace yesterday.
He highlighted the pivotal role of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in achieving the aspirations of both countries.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral co-operation, underscoring the importance of building upon strategic ties to support development priorities, as well as to further develop procedures between the two countries across various fields.
Latest regional and global developments were reviewed.
Ambassador Al Sudairi expressed his gratitude to HRH Prince Salman for his commitment to strengthening this long-standing partnership.
He also wished Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity.
Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
