The Works Ministry has won the 2025 MEED International Award for the Best Roads Project, in recognition of the Muharraq Ring Road project, which was opened to traffic in December last year.
It was selected by the judging panel as the best roads project in the Mena region during the 2025 MEED Projects Awards ceremony held in the UAE.
The ministry expressed pride in the regional recognition, highlighting the project teams’ efforts and its commitment to applying high engineering standards in planning, executing and managing infrastructure projects.
The achievement aligns with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and sustainable development, enhances the quality of the road network and services, and reflects the ministry’s adherence to internationally recognised project management practices.
