YK Almoayyed & Sons (YKA) received multiple accolades at the INJAZ Bahrain Annual Gala Dinner, held recently at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain.
The prestigious event was organised to mark INJAZ Bahrain’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
It was led by INJAZ Bahrain chairperson Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, in the presence of INJAZ Al Arab and Junior Achievement Middle East and North Africa (JA MENA) chairperson Shaikha Hanadi bint Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani, and president and chief executive Akef Aqrabawi.
Senior officials and representatives from the regional headquarters were also present.
YKA received the awards in recognition of its continued partnership, volunteer efforts and corporate support towards INJAZ Bahrain’s mission of empowering youth.
YKA representatives Faisal Al Asfoor was presented with the ‘Outstanding Board Company Co-ordinator’ award, while Sayed Hashim Saleh was honoured for being a ‘Longstanding Volunteer’ alongside a special recognition for contributing more than 200 volunteering hours.
A ‘Gold Volunteer Award’ was presented to another YKA representative, Hussain Al Nasser.
Additional accolades included YKA winning the fourth place in ‘Volunteering Hours’ by a board company, with a total of 323 hours contributed.
The company also received appreciation awards for sponsoring the new INJAZ Bahrain headquarters and the Finance Park Initiative.
The seventh award for YKA was the ‘Longstanding and Sponsoring Board Company Award’ for ongoing support and collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain.
INJAZ Bahrain is a non-profit organisation established in 2005. It is part of the ‘Junior Achievement Worldwide’ network and a member of ‘INJAZ Al Arab,’ which operates in 13 Arab countries.
The organisation’s goal is to empower Bahraini youth through interactive educational programmes and prepare them for success in the global economy.
