Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani met Brigadier General Ahmad Al Hajjar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of Lebanon, who is visiting Bahrain to attend the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. The meeting discussed historical relations between the two countries, and the progress and development of these ties across various sectors. They also reviewed efforts to enhance co-operation to serve the shared interests of both countries and their peoples. The meeting further addressed the efforts of the Lebanese government to strengthen security and stability, preserve its sovereignty and independence, and meet the aspirations of the Lebanese people for growth and prosperity. They also exchanged views on latest regional developments and their implications for security and stability in the region.
