TABLE TENNIS – Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) president Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa received International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) event director Bart Vermoesen.
The visit aimed to assess Bahrain’s preparations for hosting the ITTF World Youth Championships, scheduled for November 21 to 28.
Vermoesen toured the BTTA’s hall, which will host all matches, and visited the proposed hotels for participating delegations.
The programme also included a meeting to review organisational and logistical arrangements for the worlds.
