A man featured on “To Proino,” a Greek morning show, revealed the bizarre circumstances that led to his divorce.
The couple had been married for 12 long years when suddenly, the now ex-wife asked ChatGPT to “read” her husband’s coffee cup. The reading of fortunes using a coffee cup is an ancient Greek tradition, which involves interpreting patterns and shapes formed by the coffee grounds left behind after drinking from the cup.
Surprisingly, the wife chose to trust the chatbot that suggested her husband was allegedly having an affair with a younger woman.
At first, “I laughed it off as nonsense,” the husband expressed. “But she took it seriously. She asked me to leave, told our kids we were getting divorced, and then I got a call from a lawyer.”
According to Greek City Times, the husband’s lawyer said the claims made by the chatbot have no legal standing.
