An undocumented expat, who was found guilty of accidentally running over and killing a woman outside a hotel near Bab Al Bahrain, has lodged an appeal against his sentence.
In February this year, the High Criminal Court sentenced the 33-year-old Egyptian to seven years behind bars on charges of committing assault which unintentionally led to the death of Moroccan Nawal El Khayati .
