Cairo: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, met with Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, as part of his participation in the ceremony organized by the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, on the first Arab Day of Older Persons and Arab Volunteer Day under the theme "Giving Continues".
The two sides discussed means to enhance Arab cooperation in social development, and the role of the Arab League in supporting national efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, focusing on initiatives to empower the elderly and promote a culture of voluntary work .
