Indian actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after undergoing surgeries following a brutal knife attack in his home.
On January 16 an intruder and alleged burglar barraged into Khan’s residence and attacked him with a knife after the actor confronted him.
The 54-year-old actor sustained multiple stab wounds, including a severe injury to his thoracic spine, which required immediate surgery to remove knife fragments.
During the five days of intensive treatment, the Bollywood star underwent two critical procedures: neurosurgery and plastic surgery.
His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and daughter, Sara Ali Khan, were reportedly seen arriving at the hospital before the actor was discharged.
