The Foreign Ministry emphasised the importance of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the exchange of prisoners, hostages and detainees, allowing the entry of humanitarian aid, and the return of displaced persons to their homes in the northern part of Gaza, noting that this agreement is a crucial progress towards alleviating the catastrophic humanitarian situation and ending the devastating war that lasted for more than 15 months.
The ministry stressed the importance of all parties' commitment to implement the terms of the agreement through an immediate ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the protection of the civilian population, and meeting their necessary needs for relief, food, medical and fuel assistance without obstacles or restrictions, in accordance with international humanitarian law .
