The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry has announced the arrest of a Kuwaiti citizen and a Pakistani resident on charges of human trafficking.
The public relations office clarified in a statement that the two individuals conspired to bring in 129 foreign workers sponsored by a particular company for KD500 (BD613) per person.
Everyone involved in the case has been arrested and legal procedures are underway to refer them to the court.
