The much-awaited 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is almost a sure hit owing to Allu Arjun's massive popularity and the hype behind the sequel.
Pushpa 2 is already starting to break the record for the fastest movie to sell 1,200,000 tickets. The movie also shattered the pre-sale ticket figures of the Oscar-winning RRR.
'RRR', helmed by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, was one of the biggest movies of 2022, taking in Rs 58.73 crores (BD2.6 million) in the pre-sale day 1 collection. 'Pushpa 2' broke this record relatively easily, raking in Rs 63.16 crores(BD2.8 million).
'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is a direct sequel to 2021's 'Pushpa: The Rise'. The movie, directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Sunil in pivotal roles.
The movie is set to hit the screens on December 5 in Bahrain.
