A DEMAND to step up inspections to crack down on illegal activities by expatriates in Bahrain’s labour market is gaining momentum.
Five MPs, led by Parliament’s services committee chairwoman Jalila Al Sayed, have submitted a proposal calling for joint inspections by authorities, outside regular working hours, to uncover more violations and ensure compliance with labour and economic regulations .
