Bulgarian football legend Dimitar Berbatov has been announced as the latest addition to the star-studded cast of players who will be participating in the 'Unity Kickoff – Play for a Cause' charity football match, which will be held in the kingdom early next year.
Berbatov joins Brazil and Real Madrid icon Roberto Carlos and ex-England and Chelsea captain John Terry as the confirmed superstars for the event, happening January 31 at the National Stadium in Riffa.
Former English Premier League manager Harry Redknapp and Bahrain national team head coach Dragan Talajic will be in charge of the teams that will be taking to the pitch in the exhibition game.
