A seven-year-old coding prodigy from St. Petersburg in Russia, identified only as Sergey, has gained international attention after his online coding tutorials went viral.
Sergey, who began creating videos at the age of five, has impressed viewers with his clear explanations of programming languages like Python and Unity and neural networks.
A Russian information security firm, Pro32, has offered Sergey a job as head of corporate training. However, as the minimum working age in Russia is 14, Sergey cannot legally accept the offer. Despite this, Pro32 has expressed interest in collaborating with the young coder and his parents.
Sergey's videos are characterised by his enthusiastic demeanour, as he smiles and explains coding concepts step-by-step in Russian.
