The Court of Appeals in Kuwait upheld a two-year prison sentence handed down by a lower court to a blogger who insulted the Amir.
The Public Prosecution charged the defendant with offending the Amir through posts on X (formerly Twitter), in which he publicly challenged the Amir's rights and authority.
He was also charged with intentional insult using a communication device.
The name of the blogger has not been revealed.
