Golf – Ahmed Mohamed Al Zayed won the 59th Bahrain Open Championship yesterday with a total score of 139 (69 +70) at the Awali Golf Club.
A stroke further back in second place was Saleh Ali Al Kaabi 140 (69+71), while Jamie Elson finished third with 143 (71+72) in the tournament that featured more than 100 players.
Meanwhile, Sarah Hobday won her third title in the 35th Bahrain Ladies Open Golf Championship with a total score of 179 (88+91) and . Helen Woollacott took second place with 188 (90+98).
