The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) has been staging a variety of workshops at various craft centres in a bid to enrich children from different charities as well as educate them on the island’s rich traditions.
Baca handicrafts directorate’s campaign, Weaving Heritage, aims to engage with the communities through specialised centres like Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre, Bani Jamrah’s Naseej Factory textile weaving centre and the House of Basket Weaving (Bait Al Selal) near Qal’at Al Bahrain .
