Ombudswoman and Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission (PDRC) chairperson Ghada Hameed Habib yesterday received Italian Ambassador Paola Amadi, and affirmed keenness of the Office of the Ombudsman to extend bridges of communication with relevant entities, including the diplomatic missions accredited in the kingdom.
The two sides reviewed co-operation and ways to exchange expertise with similar Italian agencies, as part of the Office of the Ombudsman’s international co-operation and development programmes .
