TWO separate evacuation exercises were conducted by the Civil Defence to test its readiness response to emergency situations.The drills, at Al Areen Palace Resort and Spa and the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, began with the safety and security teams triggering the alarm and the Civil Defence vehicles arriving at the scene in record time, said a statement yesterday .
