Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (Adnic), one of the leading regional multi-line insurance providers for corporates and individuals, has appointed Charalampos Mylonas as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
Mylonas will succeed Ahmad Idris, who resigned as of February 28.
Mylonas joined Adnic in 2020 and he currently holds the position of Deputy CEO; he will assume his new position as the Chief Executive Officer effective March 1, 2023. Over the past 25 years, Mylonas has held various leadership positions in leading insurance companies in the United Arab Emirates and abroad, and has diverse experience in the field of Underwriting, Risk Management and Actuarial Services, as he held several leadership roles in various organisations such as AXA, AIG, Sukoon (Oman Insurance) and Fidelity United Insurance Company.
