A safety awareness campaign was organised by the Coastguard to ensure fishermen’s ships and tourist companies transporting seafarers from Aldar’s fishermen’s jetty in Sitra are in safe hands.
As reported by the Interior Ministry, the Coastguard inspected the ships to make sure that all the necessary tools were available if needed and maritime safety guidelines were also provided, along with the distribution of life jackets and first aid kits .
