BAHRAIN’S athletes yesterday added a sixth gold to their tally at the fifth Islamic Solidarity Games being held in Konya, Türkiye.
The Bahrain squad of Muna Mubarak, Zenab Moussa, Ali Khamis and Musa Isah won the gold in the 4x400m mixed relay event.
They were followed by Morocco in second place, with hosts Türkiye clinching the bronze medal.
This took Bahrain’s medals tally to 11, including three silver and two bronze.
