Muharraq Club topped the table in the preparatory round of the Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Volleyball League after beating Al Ahli in straight sets 30-28, 25-19, 25-21 in the 14th round of the competition yesterday.
In a second match, Dar Kulaib routed Busaiteen in straight sets 25-19, 25-18, 25-19.
Muharraq rank first with 38 points followed by Al Ahli (36 points), Dar Kulaib third (31 points), Al Najma fourth (22 points), Al Nasr fifth (20 points), Bani Jamra sixth (11 points), A’ali seventh (6 points) and Busaiteen eighth (5 points).
