MANAMA: Failure to take the vaccine and choosing to gain immunity through direct infection with the virus are among the main causes of pandemic persistence and virus mutation, a top health official has warned.
National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) monitoring committee head and BDF Hospital infectious disease consultant Dr Manaf Al Qahtani said taking one dose only is one of the main reasons behind coronavirus mutation .
