Kuwait City: The Health Ministry has announced that it plans to vaccinate over 2 million citizens and residents and authorities are working to secure 5,700,000 doses of the vaccine, more than the amount required to build herd immunity.
A total of 2,775,000 people will receive the vaccine out of a total of about 3,700,000 citizens and residents in the country, Al-Rai reported.
The numbers those under the age of 16 years, pregnant women, lactating women, and people who have hypersensitivity, as per international recommendations.
