Dubai: Ahead of a re-opening of onsite education for school-going students, the country has intensified its efforts to vaccinate teachers and administrative staff against Covid-19 with free vaccines available for two weeks at dedicated centres.
The three dedicated vaccination centres in Fujairah and Ajman, which have been set up in cooperation with the Health and Prevention Ministry, will administer the jabs to all teachers, employees of private and government educational institutions and students aged over 18 years.
It comes after the Education Ministry recently revealed plans to reopen schools, starting January 17.
