Paris Football Club (Paris FC) beat Guingamp 3-2 in the 17th round of the French Second Division Football Championship (Ligue 2).
Paris FC’s goals were scored by Gaetan Laura (26th minute), Marvin Gakpa (63) and Moustapha Name (90+1 ).
Guingamp reduced the margin through Matthias Phaeton (66) and Yeni Ngbakpto (82).
Paris FC, who are fifth in the standings, have so far totalled 31 points from 17 matches, three points behind leaders Grenoble.
His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed the team’s performance.
“The strong performance of the team in the match and its high spirit augur well and inspire optimism to continue amassing points in the next stage,” he said, wishing the team success.
