Kuwait: A Kuwaiti Airways plane has been evacuated following a bomb threat as it was getting ready to take off and head to Jordan with 230 passengers aboard, reported local Arabic daily Al-Qabas.
An unidentified man claiming to be a member of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) warned of a bomb planted aboard the jet.
Security authorities at Kuwait International Airport halted the flight and conducted a search.
A passenger made threats, warning of a bomb, as he was boarding the plane, which sparked panic, said Kuwait Airways on its twitter account.
The hoax bomb threat prompted the security authorities to evacuate the passengers for searching the plane and screening the luggage.
