MANAMA: The government will continue to subsidise electricity and water for Bahrainis at their primary residence, the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) said.
The statement followed media reports about remarks by deputy chief executive for distribution and subscriber services Adnan Fakhro, who said during a Parliament debate on Tuesday that the government subsidy would stop in 2022 .
