Kuwait City: A group of 42 repatriated Kuwaiti citizens have been transferred to compulsory institutional quarantine on suspicion of contracting the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Ministry of Health imposed mandatory home quarantine on 1,187 other cases, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs and General Supervisor of Medical Examination Centers at Kuwait International Airport, Dr Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi said that that four cases were transferred to complete their treatment in hospitals for other health reasons.
Al-Mutairi also added 1,233 citizens had returned to Kuwait on the first 11 evacuation flights.
