Riyadh: Turkish security forces arrested three women suspects on charges of links to ISIS while another person was killed trying to enter Turkey illegally.
Turkish news agency Anadolu, citing security sources, reported, "Four people tried to enter from Syria to Turkey through illegal channels.
"Despite warnings from the security forces of not to enter, they tried to cross the border, and subsequently the security forces fired warning shots, but the suspects continued to walk which led to one of them being shot while the others were arrested".
One of the suspects (unknown nationality) was hit by three bullets.
He was taken to the hospital, but he died from his wounds.
The sources said that among the three women, two are Moroccans while the third is Turkish and all belong to ISIS.
They arrested them on charges of 'belonging to a terrorist organization', and 'violation of private security zone'.
