MANAMA: A total of 150kg of illegally caught fresh shrimp were seized from markets in Jidhafs and Sanabis yesterday during inspection campaigns.
The campaigns were launched by the Marine Control Directorate of the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry to catch fishermen violating a ministerial decision to ban shrimping from February 1 to July 31 .
