Abu Dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Health has today announced 27 cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), while 5 other infected patients have recovered.
UAE Official Spokesperson for the health sector Dr. Farida Al Hosani unveiled figures during a press briefing which was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
Al Hosani, who is also the Director of the Department of Communicable Diseases at the Abu Dhabi Centre for Public Health, said that the 27 new cases, from different nationalities, were diagnosed at an early stage
The UAE health authorities have so far reported 140 confirmed COVID-19 cases – of whom two are in critical condition.
The spokesperson said that following the discovery of the new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases had reached 140, with two cases in critical condition.
