Experts and diplomats from around the world gathered in Bahrain on Tuesday to discuss cultural and historic sites being destroyed by terrorist groups in the region.
The event, organised by the International Peace Institute (IPI), featured a presentation titled 'Cultural Heritage During Armed Conflicts: International Community's Duty and Right to Protect, which was conducted by Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage Bahrain director Mounir Bouchenaki .
