Abu Dhabi: Two Asian expatriates suspected of attempting to steal money from an automatic teller machine (ATM) have been arrested.
The two suspects are accused of smashing a bank ATM at Ghayathi industrial zone in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi police launched an inquiry and arrested the suspects in Mesfah and referred them to competent authorities.
They admitted to wearing masks and smashing the ATM machine, using a hammer, an axe and other tools, Al Bayan reported.
