Oman: A fire broke out at a cargo ship which was docked at Salalah port in the Governorate of Dhofar, the Sultanate of Oman.
Civil Defence units intervened promptly and doused the fire. No casualties were reported and all 25 crew members were evacuated safely, reported local Arabic daily Shabiba.
The 3-storey ship was loaded with oil by-products weighing roughly 400 tonnes and cement weighing 6000 tonnes.
