Riyadh: Heavy rain fell on Monday morning on the Governorates of Medina, Badr, Al-Safra'a and other villages in the western mountainous regions.
The rain replenished rivers and waterfalls in several areas of the kingdom.
The Saudi Presidency of Meteorology and Environmental Protection Agency (MEPA) forecast more torrential rain in various parts of Saudi Arabia including dropping temperatures, reported local Arabic daily Sabq.
It warned of thundery rains, moderate winds reaching 50 km/per hour, as well as low horizontal visibility due to rising sand.
