Kuwait: The British Appeals bench of the Civil Court upheld the first instance court verdict freezing the accounts of former Public Institution for Social Security director Fahd Al-Rajaan as well as the accounts of his wife and children.
Sources told Arabic daily Al-Qabas that the Public Prosecution has also succeeded in Bahrain and Switzerland where judicial authorities froze Al-Rajaan and his family's accounts.
The Public Prosecution in Kuwait is reportedly seeking the judicial assistance of Paris and Washington for a similar step to be taken against Al-Rajaan and family.
The same sources said that the Kuwaiti Public Prosecution is chasing Al-Rajaan in all countries in the world where he may have bank accounts to return the money he embezzled from the Public Institution for Social Security.
